Description
The essential oil of citronella is obtained by distillation from the dried leaves and has a pleasant fragrance of lemon. It is mainly used as an insect repellent either on air diffuser or by spreading the diluted oil. It even has antiseptic and antibacterial properties and treats rheumatic and arthritic pains. Its special feature is that it clears the mind and thought and fights migraines, neuralgia and headaches. It acts effectively against mites and lice.
