Verona can be found in the various pastures and meadows of Greece. The plant is cultivated and known by the name Tea of Europe. It is rich in vitamins, tannins and glycosides and has anti-inflammatory properties. The leaves are toothed and oval and are used in the manufacture of an excellent beverage against cough. It also acts as an appetizer, as a tonic, as a diuretic. Very effective is treating ear infections.
